After our annual magical Christmas light ride, my mom, my son, and I went to Bertucci's in Canton for an early dinner. Barney, the hospitality manager, settled us at one of the four-top tables in the bar area. He was very pleasant and helpful, reminding us of the appetizer and drink specials offered Monday-Friday from 3-6. Justine, the bartender, took care of us and was friendly, attentive, and helpful. I ordered a hard cider fro the $3 drink menu. My !on got a diet Coke and my son asked for a Shirley Temple. When Justine brought it over, there were five cherries on top-my kid was thrilled! The rolls were steaming when they arrived at the table and there were tons of herbs and seasonings in the dipping oil. We ordered garlic knots to start and two margherita flatbreads off the specials menu, plus a kid's ravioli. The garlic knots were piping hot and absolutely delicious with lots of garlic butter and a side of marinara for dipping. When the pizzas came out, Justine said that she hadn't loved the way one of them looked because she felt it was a little overcooked and without enough sauce, so she had asked the chefs to make a new one. While it was a little light on the sauce, we thought it was fine, but she brought out the third pizza at no charge for us. She refilled my mom's soda before we asked, cleared our excess plates as we emptied them, checked on us, and made herself available without hovering or crowding us. The bill for our delicious dinner? $21. Thanks to Justine, Barney, and the rest of the staff for a delicious, inexpensive, and low-key night!
Great deal great atmosphere, great food
I love the addition of the bar. The bartenders are very friendly and accommodating. A good local spot for dinner and a drink!
